Your first stop is the Texas Capital for a self-guided tour. This Italian Renaissance Revival style building set atop a hill overlooking downtown Austin is the home of the government for the state of Texas. As you walk around the grounds, you’ll visit of the statues and monuments such as the Heroes of the Alamo, the Volunteer Firemen Monument, the Confederate Soldiers Monument or others along the tree-lined Great Walk.

After the Capitol, you will hop back into tour van for a narrated driving tour with stops at several iconic landmarks. Your guide will inform you about ongoing highlights and local area insights along the drive.
