This Boothbay Harbor culinary adventure introduces you to a mix of some of the area’s newest and oldest establishments while showcasing the dynamic culinary creativity that is alive and well in Boothbay Harbor!

Your friendly, local guide with lead you to locally owned businesses as you are tasting their delicious, native-to-Maine foods. You’ll also learn about the history of Boothbay, the harbor, the fishing and lobstering, their award-wining aquaculture and sustainable practices, all on a beautiful, leisurely walk along the harbor.

The follow are some the tasty treats you may get to savor on the tour: *

  • Delicious, fresh Maine crabcakes
  • “Best of Boothbay” lobster corn chowders
  • Creative, local fruit smoothies
  • Pours of small batch, craft beers brewed near the famous ‘Footbridge’
  • Needhams, a native Maine “sacred & peculiar” treat

This guided food tour is the ideal introduction to Boothbay Harbor. Bring your appetite for knowledge and brunch as the tour is guaranteed to feed your mind and fill your stomach.

Walking distance: less than 1-mile on fairly flat surfaces

Need to know:

  • Minimum purchase of 2 people required.
  • The maximum number of participants on the tour is 8.
  • Please advise of dietary restrictions or food allergies when you reserve your tour time with the tour provider.
  • The tour provider will actively work with gluten (not celiac), nut, seafood, and vegetarian dietary preferences and sensitivities to the best of their ability. For all other sensitivities and preferences, tour participants may pick and choose their participation.
  • Dress for comfort and wear comfortable walking shoes.
  • This tour takes place rain or shine.
  • Tour guide gratuities are not included, optional and always appreciated.
