This combination ghost tour and pub crawl focuses on the bars, taverns, pubs which were popular watering holes during the Revolutionary War period. Get the same drinks that were popular with our Founding Fathers!

Your adventure will begin when you meet your guide at the Samuel Adams Statue located outside the Faneuil Hall Marketplace. As your guide leads you from bar to bar, they’ll recount ghostly stories along the way. At each haunted venue visited, you’ll be able to grab yourself a drink and keep watch for those who may be be visiting you from beyond the grave.  In total, you’ll visit 3 to 4 of the city’s spookiest bars.

Get ready for a spine-tingling fun way to explore the paranormal secrets of Boston’s bars.

Some of the haunted watering holes you may visit on the tour:

  • Green Dragon Tavern: Dating back to 1654, the Green Dragon Tavern holds the claim to being the oldest bar in Boston. Said to be haunted by more than a few ghosts, rumor has it that Paul Revere himself is haunting this tavern.
  • The Bell in Hand Tavern: Dating back to 1795, stories of ghosts and paranormal activities at the Bell in Hand Tavern have made their rounds through Boston. Is the Bell in Hand really haunted? If so, who is haunting it?
  • The Union Oyster House: The Union Oyster House is the oldest restaurant in Boston and a former favorite hang-out of our founding fathers. From the ghosts of finely dressed Victorian ladies to the presence of a deceased ex-employee, the ghosts at the Union Oyster House are as diverse as the characters that once strolled the streets of Boston way back when.
