Dayton NASCAR Style Racing Experience

Buckle up and feed your need for speed!

Push your driving skills to the limit with a NASCAR style racing experience - drive a 400+ horse-power racing machine around Kil-Kare Raceway’s 1-mile concrete oval at speeds up to 150mph.

Your driving experience begins with classroom instruction to help prepare you for the incredible power and speed of the racing machine you are about to take control of. Veteran racers will go over safety procedures, how to enter/exit the track, flags used, passing, taking corners, braking, and much more.

Next, you’ll suit up in a helmet, HANS device, and full body suit. When you are ready to race, you’ll climb into the car, buckle your 5-point harness, and start your engine.

You’ll have a one-way radio connected to your helmet so you can hear your instructor while you are on the track. They will be giving you advice, helping you drive safely as you get your speed up to a mind-blowing level.

No previous stock car racing experience needed!

With your loved ones on the sidelines cheering you on, you’ll be laser focused on the track ahead as the roar of the engine drowns out every other thought.

Location: Kil-Kare Raceway, just outside of Dayton, in Xenia, Ohio and approximately a 1-hour drive from both Cincinnati and  Columbus.    VIEW MAP

The Cars:

• Late Model stock cars are designed to race on smaller short oval racetracks.
• The Late Model’s strong chassis and fiberglass body make the car quicker and lighter than the larger NASCAR style Cup cars used at bigger ovals.
• The race cars all have standard transmission. If you need assistance operating a standard vehicle the pit crews will help you exit the pit area and get to speed quickly.

How fast will I be able to go?

• Real fast! You are driving by yourself in the race car. The speeds will vary according to each driver’s individual performance.

Need to know:

• The minimum age to drive is 18 years old and a valid driver’s license is required.
• Ride Along minimum age is 14 years and be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
• Drivers must be able to climb through a 15” high by 28” wide window that sits 35” above the ground.
• Minimum height requirement is 5′ tall.
• Maximum height permitted is 6′ 4″.
• Chest and waist cannot exceed 52".
• Wear clothes that will be comfortable beneath the driver’s suit.
• Closed toe shoes are required. Open-toed shoes are not permitted. Your shoes should allow you to feel the pedals through the sole. A running shoe or equivalent usually works best (no boots).
• This experience is weather dependent. If your racing event is cancelled due to weather, your certificate will be rescheduled for a future date. Refunds cannot be issued.
• You are financially responsible for all damage caused to the car due to driver error. A Vehicle Protection Plan is available for $60.00, subject to a $1000.00 deductible. You can purchase optional insurance at the race car track on the day of your event. Due to the quality of the training and cars, damage is rare, but you will be responsible for any damage to the race car.
