Evergreen Raceway Park NASCAR Style Driving Experience

A driving experience guaranteed to get your heart pounding!

This extreme driving experience begins with a driver orientation class where seasoned racing instructors will go over everything you need for a safe but FAST NASCAR style racing experience. They’ll go over how to enter and exit the track, passing, the flags used, finding your line, braking techniques and much more.

Next, you’ll get dressed in a fire-retardant racing suit, HANS device and a full-face helmet. Slide through the window, into the driver’s seat and buckle your 5-point racing harness. You’ll feel like a real racing pro.

After a thumbs up, start your engine! As you are pushing the stock car to its limit around the oval, the pit crew will be you feeding you advice on changing gears and braking points through your helmet’s one-way radio. They will be in your ear the whole way helping you drive safely while getting your speed up to an incredible level.

No previous stock car racing experience needed!

It’s just you alone in the car pushing the stock car to go faster and faster. - no pace car to follow, no instructor in the car, and passing is allowed. How fast you go is all up to you! This is as close as you can get to real NASCAR style stock car racing!

The Cars: 

• The race cars are all equipped with standard transmissions. If you need help operating a standard vehicle the pit crews will help you exit the pit area and get to speed quickly.
• Late Model NASCAR style cars that have all raced in competitions.
• These stock cars cars are designed for racing on smaller, short oval racetracks.
• The Late Model’s fiberglass body and strong chassis make the cars lighter and faster than the bigger NASCAR style Cup cars used at larger ovals.

Need to know:

• The minimum age to drive a race car is 18 years old.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Ride Along: minimum age is 14 years, and they must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to the event.
• Drivers must be able to climb through a 15” high by 28” wide window that is 35” above the ground.
• Chest and waist size cannot exceed 52".
• Minimum height requirement is 5′ tall. Maximum height allowable is 6′ 4″.
• Please wear clothes that will be comfortable beneath the racing suit.
• Closed toe shoes are required. Your shoes should allow you to feel the gas and brake pedals through the sole. A running shoe or equivalent usually works best (no boots). Open-toed shoes are not permitted.
• This experience is weather dependent. Should your racing event is cancelled due to weather, your certificate will be rescheduled for a future date. Refunds cannot be issued.
• You are financially responsible for all damage caused to the car due to driver error. A Vehicle Protection Plan is available for $60.00, subject to a $1000.00 deductible. You can purchase optional insurance at the race car track on the day of your event. Due to the quality of the training and cars, damage is rare, but you will be responsible for any damage to the race car.
