Indianapolis Zombie Scavenger Hunt

The world is in chaos, small colonies are struggling to survive, and zombies outnumber the living 10 to 1. With your team, you'll explore downtown Indianapolis scavenging for much needed supplies like food, bandages, vehicles, and more.

The Zombie Scavenger Hunt dedicated app will give you a list of items you need to scavenge. You will have 60-minutes to find and take pictures of these items. The more items you find, the more points you’ll earn to increase your chances of surviving the apocalypse. Answer trivia questions and perform zombie themed challenges along the way to be rewarded even more points.

It won’t be easy! Rival colonies are all around, and they will take what you worked hard to find if you are not careful.

• No actual zombies are involved in the scavenger hunt!
• You can play at a time that is convenient to you.
• This is a private experience played by you and your team.
• A great game for children and adults.

How it works:

• Registration instructions will be provided to you once you have activated your Breakaway Experiences' certificate.
• When you are ready to play, you’ll register with the experience provider and download the app called "GooseChase" onto your smartphone.
• You’ll go to your starting location outside the Indiana State Capitol building on the day / time you want to play. Follow the directions provided to you in the Zombie Scavenger app.
• You'll be given a list of items such to find on the app. You can find these survival items in any order you'd like.
• Once you locate an item, you’ll take a picture to prove you found it. You are not required to purchase anything during the scavenger hunt.
• The more items you find, the more points you earn and increase your odds of survival.
• You won’t be alone. During the game, a remote guide / host will be following your progress via the App. Via the chat feature in the app, the remote host can help you in case you need anything.

When:

• Zombie Scavenger Hunt customer support hours are Tuesday-Sunday from 9am-5pm.
• If you prefer, you can play anytime, outside the customer support hours.

Duration: 1-hour

Need to know:

• You can have up to 10 people on a team. The optimal size for a group is between 4 and 6 people.
• If you are playing in a larger group, you can divide into teams and play against each other to see who finds all the survival items the quickest!
• You can put the scavenger hunt app on as many phones as you'd like.
• To play the game you will need an iOS or Android Smartphone with data plan.
• Nobody will be physically there with you during the game, dressed as Zombies. Everything is done through your smartphone.
• The game is played all outdoors in public spaces.
• The experience is wheelchair accessible. It is an open scavenger hunt, where you can explore the city on your own terms. There is no specific route, therefore you don’t have to go anywhere that is not wheelchair accessible, nor will you be asked to find anything that could not be accessible in a wheelchair.
