Kentucky Speedway NASCAR Style Racing Experience

Experience the thrill of driving a race proven stock car!

Get a taste of life as a professional NASCAR driver as you soar around the oval at Kentucky Speedway in Nationwide and Cup Style race cars that have been used in competition by Dale Earnhardt Inc., Joe Gibbs Racing, Hendrick Motorsports, Roush, and others.

After a brief orientation and safety session, you’ll get suited up in racing gear, climb into the cockpit and get strapped into the 5-point harness.

Through the radio in your helmet, your instructor will be coaching you on driving safely, changing gears, brake points and more. With each lap, they’ll get you going faster, achieving the perfect racing line. As you hit the straight-a-away, put the pedal to the metal and aim for 150mph!

No racing experience is required!

Important details:

• All the race cars have standard transmissions. The pit crew will help you exit the pit area if you need a hand and get you driving fast quickly.
• How fast can you go? As fast as you want! It's just and the car on the track. Speeds will vary according to a driver’s individual performance.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• To participate you must be at least 18 years old. Ride Along minimum age is 14 years and be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
• Drivers must be able to climb through a 15” high by 28” wide window that sits 35” from the ground.
• Minimum height requirement is 5′ and maximum height is 6′ 4″. Waist and chest can be no bigger than 52".
• Wear clothes that will be comfortable under the driver’s suit. The shoes you wear need to be closed-toed and allow you to feel the pedals through the sole. Open-toed shoed are not allowed.
• This experience is weather dependent. In the event the experience is cancelled due to weather, your certificate will be rescheduled for a future date. No refunds can be issued.
• You are financially responsible for all damage caused to the car due to driver error. A Vehicle Protection Plan is available for $75.00, subject to a $1000.00 deductible. You can purchase optional insurance at the race car track on the day of your event. Due to the quality of the training and cars, damage is rare but you will be responsible for any damage to the racecar.
