Cincinnati Zombie Scavenger Hunt

A race against time to explore downtown Cincinnati!

Using a dedicated app and a friendly remote host, you'll set out on an adventure to survive the zombie apocalypse. Zombies outnumber the living. You are part of a small colony of survivors tasked with scavenging in downtown Cincinnati for survival supplies like bandages, food, vehicles, necessities, and more.

Competing colonies are roving around and if you are not careful, they will steal from you items you worked hard to find.

This fun, interactive game puts a new spin on sightseeing, introducing you to places in Cincinnati that you didn’t know about.

• No actual zombies are involved in the scavenger hunt!

How it works:

• Using a dedicated app, Zombie Scavenger Hunt gives you a list of items needed to survive an apocalypse and zombie themed challenges for even more points.
• Registration instructions will be provided to you once you have activated your Breakaway Experiences' certificate.
• When you are ready to play, you’ll register with the experience provider and download the app called "GooseChase" onto your smartphone.
• You’ll go to your starting location in Cincinnati’s Procter & Gamble Lawn Park on the day / time you want to play. Follow the directions provided to you in the Zombie Scavenger app.
• You'll be given a list of items to find, such as food, bandages, vehicles, necessities, and more on the app. You can find these survival items in any order you'd like.
• Once you locate an item, you’ll take a picture to prove you found it. You are not required to purchase anything during the scavenger hunt.
• The more items you find, the more points you earn and increase your odds of survival.
• Along the way, you will be asked to do answer some trivia questions and perform some zombie style challenges for which you will be rewarded more points.
• You won’t be alone. During the game, a remote guide / host will be following your progress via the App. Via the chat feature in the app, the remote host can help you in case you need anything.

What's included:

When:

• Zombie Scavenger Hunt customer support hours are Tuesday-Sunday from 9am-5pm.
• If you'd like, you can play anytime, outside the customer support hours.

Duration: 1-hour

Need to know:

• You can have up to 10 people on a team. The optimal size for a group is between 4 and 6 people.
• If you are playing in a larger group, you can divide into teams and play against each other to see who finds all the survival items the quickest!
• You can put the scavenger hunt app on as many phones as you'd like.
• Nobody will be physically there with you during the game, dressed as Zombies. Everything is done through your smartphone.
• To play the game you will need an iOS or Android Smartphone with data plan.
• The game is played all outdoors in public spaces.
• The experience is wheelchair accessible. It is an open scavenger hunt, where you can explore Cincinnati on your own terms. There is no specific route, therefore you don’t have to go anywhere that is not wheelchair accessible, nor will you be asked to find anything that could not be accessible in a wheelchair.
