As you sample their classic flavors, your guide will captivate you with stories about the evolution of Boston’s Financial District, a bustling area that has transformed over the years from a hub of maritime trade to the heart of Boston’s business and commercial activity.
Next, you’ll take a leisurely stroll along the waterfront on your way over to Boston Public Market, a year-round indoor marketplace filled with local vendors offering a taste of New England’s finest ingredients. Here, you’ll delve into Boston’s agricultural history as you enjoy fresh cider donuts, made with apples from the region’s orchards.
On your way to your third stop, you’ll walk through Boston’s North End or “Little Italy” neighborhood, one of the oldest neighborhoods in Boston. It’s also the home to the Old North Church, which was the starting point for Paul Revere’s famous ride during the Revolutionary War. In the North End. Here, the tour stops at one of the oldest bakeries in the neighborhood where you will have a uniquely Boston treat at Bova’s Bakery, famous for its Boston Cream Donut.
Lastly, you’ll walk back through the North End to end the tour back at the Public Market where you’ll visit Union Square Donuts.
