• Powder Magazine: One the smallest haunted buildings in Charleston and one of few surviving structures from the colonial period, the Powder Magazine has played an important part in Charleston's history. From Indian wars and Spanish threats to French invasion and colonist insurrection, it has experienced its share of heinous moments. Some say there are those who fought, died, and never left.
• Old Exchange and Provost Dungeon: Considered to be the most historically significant building in Charleston, spirits are said to roam its stately halls, and the distressing cries of long-dead prisoners in the basement dungeon can still be heard.
