If you've ever dreamed of chasing the checkered flag on a professional racetrack, in a real race car, this is your chance to make that dream come true. This stock car racing experience puts you behind the wheel of a 400-horsepower speed demon, soaring down Anderson Motor Speedway’s wide straight-aways and tight corners.
No previous racing experience needed!
Your experience beings with a 45-minute orientation session with seasoned racing instructors. They will guide you through important racing theory and safety procedures. You’ll learn how you how to enter and exit the track, finding the line, passing, flags used, and much more.
You’ll then get suited up in a professional racing gear and slide behind the wheel of a real stock car. A crew member will make sure you are strapped snuggly into your 5-point racing harness, and your one-way radio is connected to your helmet. As you are soaring around the track, you'll get feedback from the pit on all aspects of racing including cornering, breaking, and changing gears.
After a thumbs up - Start your engine and when the green flag is waved, put the pedal to the metal! It's just going to be you, a powerful stock car and your driving skills taking you to the checkered flag.

The Cars:
- All the stock cars are equipped with standard transmissions. There is very little shifting involved. You can do this experience even with little to no manual transmission experience.
- If you need assistance operating a standard vehicle the pit crew will help you exit the pit area and get to speed quickly.
- The cars are designed to race on smaller short oval racetracks.
- Late Model - A purpose-built, high-performance stock car designed primarily for racing on oval tracks, with racing suspensions, tube-frame chassis, powerful V8 engines, and lightweight bodies.
- Super Late Model - lighter, faster and more powerful than a Late Model stock car.
- Modified - an open-wheel stock car used mainly on shorter oval tracks, lighter and more agile with exposed front wheels.

How fast will I be able to go?
Need to know:
- The minimum age to drive a race car is 18 years and a valid driver’s license is required.
- Ride Along minimum age is 14 years and be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
- Maximum height allowable is 6′ 4″. Minimum height requirement is 5′ tall.
- Waist and chest cannot exceed 52".
- Drivers must be able to climb through a 15” high by 28” wide window that sits 35” from the ground.
- All participants are provided with a Driver’s Suit, and Full-Faced Helmet (with one-way radio communication).
- Closed-toed shoes are required. A running shoe or equivalent usually works best (no boots). The shoes you wear should allow you to feel the pedals through the sole. Open-toed shoes are not permitted.
- Wear clothes that will be comfortable under the driver’s suit.
- How long is the driving event? The event will last 2-3 hours for driving experiences depending upon your lap package and the flow of the day. If you are driving, please show up 20-30 minutes prior to your scheduled driving time.
- Ride – Along: Please allow for about an hour for your ride-along. There is no orientation, so you get suited up and off you go.
- This experience is weather dependent. If your racing event is cancelled due to weather, your certificate will be rescheduled for a future date in the next 12 months. Refunds cannot be issued.
- Once reserved with the experience provider, rescheduling within 30 days of the event date incurs a rescheduling fee of 50% of the package price.
- You are financially responsible for all damage caused to the car due to driver error. A Vehicle Protection Plan is available for $60.00, subject to a $1000.00 deductible. You can purchase optional insurance at the race car track on the day of your event. Due to the quality of the training and cars, damage is rare, but you will be responsible for any damage to the racecar.
