Sample delicious Cuban food and discover many must-see places in Little Havana.

Your Little Havana culinary adventure begins with meeting your guide at Cuban Memorial Park. Here, you will see the Map of Cuba Monument and learn about the history of Cuba and The Cuban Revolution. This four-block boulevard is home to several monuments dedicated to Cuban Freedom fighters, including the Bay of Pigs Monument and a Map of Cuba. The Bay of Pigs Monument honors the fallen with an eternal flame at the top and their names engraved.

Next, you will begin to taste your way through the heart of Miami on “Calle Ocho” the heartbeat of the Magic City at Los Pinarenos Fruteria. For over 50 years they have offered delicious, ripe fruit and vegetables. You will get to enjoy the taste of the island with freshly squeezed juice (either sugarcane or guava).

You will then make your way to Old’s Havana Cuban Bar & Cocina where you’ll enjoy the vintage decor and authentic music as you are transported to a pre-revolutionary Cuban era full of passion. Sit back and enjoy the Cuban rhythm as you enjoy the ambiance and a delicious half Cuban Sandwich (ham, sliced roasted pork, Swiss cheese, pickles, and mustard served on pressed Cuban bread).

On your way to your next tasty stop, your guide will lead you through Domino Park, a bustling public square offering tables for dominos and chess games. Any time of day, you can see regulars sipping Cuban coffee while they play dominos and chat with friends. For over 40 years this park has been a great place to watch serious games of dominos.

Your next stop will be at El Pub where you will experience live music as you re-fuel with some famous Cuban Coffee - a form of espresso coffee made popular in Cuba after the arrival of Italian coffee makers. While sipping on your Cuban coffee, you’ll enjoy an Empanada (chicken, beef, or vegetarian). Empanada is a classic Spanish or Latin American pastry turnover filled with a variety of savory ingredients traditionally baked or fried.

Your guide will then take you to one of Miami’s premier bars and lounges, Ball and Chain. Here, you’ll satisfy your sweet tooth you will have a pastelitos de guayaba - a traditional Cuban puff pastry filled with cream cheese and guava. Similar to an apple danish, this sweet dessert is made thick from slowly boiling guava pulp and wrapping it in a flaky, buttery puff pastry and baked until golden.

To wrap up your tour, you’ll feast on a churro, a delicious dessert covered in cinnamon and sugar from Churromania.

You are sure to leave the tour with a full stomach, your sweet tooth satisfied, and hydrated. Make sure you come hungry!
