The Witch Trial Tour is NOT a Ghost Tour, but a factual tour based on the real history of the Salem Witch Trials.

As you visit each chilling location your knowledgeable guide will recount the part it played in the Salem Witch Trials. You'll be introduced to the key players in the Trials, including Bridget Bishop and John Proctor. You’ll walk away from the tour with a greater understanding of what happened … and why it could happen again.

Some of the spooky places you'll possibly visit on the tour:

  • Lyceum Hall and Turner’s Seafood: Located on the site where Bridget Bishop's apple orchard once stood, this site played a significant role in Salem’s history and in the story of the Witch Trials. Blamed for black magic, Bridget Bishop was Salem’s first convicted “witch”.
  • The Witch House: Just fifteen miles north of Boston, this 400-year-old building is as foreboding as it is famous. It is the only surviving structure with direct ties to Salem’s Witch Trials. The Witch House itself harbored no witches, though nineteen witches charged with witchcraft were executed. Is this house haunted? If so, by whom?
  • House of the Seven Gables:  Famous for its link to the 1692 Witch Trials, this home represents Salem's somber past. Over the years, extensive paranormal happenings have been reported … the phantom of a boy playing in the attic, a ghostly man clambering up and down the stairs, the spirit of Susannah Ingersoll roaming the halls and peeking through windows, and more.
