Savannah Zombie Scavenger Hunt

The whole world is in total anarchy. You and your team are members of a small colony, just outside of Savannah, Georgia. You have been entrusted with scavenging for survival supplies for your colony. Be careful … Zombies outnumber the living 10 to 1.

Beginning from outside Savannah City Hall, you'll explore downtown Savannah while earning points and competing for first place on the leaderboard. Using your smartphone, you and your team will have 60-minutes to take pictures of what you find. The more items you find and take pictures of, the more points you’ll earn and increase your chances of survival.

Answer trivia questions and perform some zombie style challenges along the way to be rewarded more points if successful.

This game is family friendly.

No actual zombies are involved in the scavenger hunt!

If you are playing in a larger group, you can divide into teams. Play against each other to see who finds all the survival items first! You can put the scavenger hunt app on as many phones as you'd like.

How it works:

• Zombie Scavengers is an app-led scavenger hunt game played with your smartphone.
• Once you have activated your Breakaway Experiences' certificate, registration intructions will be provided to you.
• When you are ready to play, you’ll register with the experience provider and download the app "GooseChase" onto your smartphone.
• You’ll go to downtown Savannah on the day / time you want to play, and follow the directions provided to you in the Zombie Scavenger app.
• Your remote host/guide will be monitoring your progress via the App every step of the way. You can chat with them on the App throughout the game to receive hints, tips and help if you need it.

What's included:

• Self-guided scavenger hunt style walking activity.
• 1 hour with a remote interactive survival guide.

When:

• Zombie Scavenger customer support hours: Tuesday-Sunday from 9am-5pm.
• You can also play anytime, outside the customer support hours.

Duration: 1-hour

Need to know:

• You can have up to 10 people on a team. The ideal group size is between 4 and 6 people.
• Nobody will be physically there with you during the game, dressed as Zombies. Everything is done through your smartphone.
• Once you find an item, all you need to do is take a picture to prove you found it. You do not have to purchase anything during the scavenger hunt.
• To play the game you will need an iOS or Android Smartphone with data plan.
• The game is played in public spaces outdoors.
• The experience is wheelchair accessible. It is an open scavenger hunt, where you can explore the city on your own terms. There is no specific route, therefore you don’t have to go anywhere that is not wheelchair accessible, nor will you be asked to find anything that could not be accessible in a wheelchair.
