Did you know that St. Augustine was once a haven for pirates and privateers? On the Pirates and Privateers Pub Crawl, you'll hear tales of infamous pirates in St. Augustine like Captain Kidd, Blackbeard, and the men who set out on the high seas and helped make it the Ancient City it is today.
This unique Pub Crawl will take you on a fun and relaxing tour through St. Augustine's historic streets, stopping at various bars and pubs along the way, each with its own unique pirate flair.
Each location on this Pub Crawl offers a variety of specialty cocktails and beers, all with a fun pirate twist. From rum punch to grog, you'll find something to quench your thirst as you are being entertained by your captivating guide.
Some of the spooky spots you might visit on the tour:
No Name Bar - Here you’ll learn about Blackbeard who looted and plundered the east coast of North America, holding ships hostage before meeting his end with his head on a pike.
Casa Reina Taqueria & Tequila - Here you’ll learn about how, on the order of the Queen of Spain, St. Augustine was sieged, looted, and burned to the ground. The man responsible for all this was one of England’s greatest explorers, Sir Francis Drake.
The Tiny Martini Bar - The Tini Martini Bar is a newer addition to the century old Casablanca Inn. At this stop, you’ll learn about the former settlement of Fort Moses, just 13 minutes north of the bar, that was once the first free black community in North America.
