Your tour begins with your friendly, expert guide picking you up in downtown Fort Lauderdale.
A key point of interest along your tour will be Hugh Taylor Birch State Park, Fort Lauderdale’s “Central Park”. You’ll enjoy a scenic and relaxing drive through this vibrant urban oasis. You’ll quickly understand why this slice of wilderness was preserved for generations of people to enjoy. Be sure to keep an eye out for gopher tortoises!
You’ll then visit the whimsical Bonnet House. Your guide will lead you through the charming historic home, first built in 1920 when Florida was one of the nation’s last frontier outposts. Bonnet House was home to artists Frederic and Evelyn Bartlett. The history, art, and nature continue to be celebrated and preserved on their behalf.
Your tour will also include a trip to the infamous Los Olas neighborhood at Fort Lauderdale Beach. Los Olas is known for its multitude of high-end dining scene, upscale boutiques, lounges, art galleries, museums, and more.
You’ll then to hop aboard the Carrie B boat cruise. This fully narrated hour and a half sightseeing cruise will take you along the Intracoastal Waterway and into Port Everglades, home of the world’s busiest cruise ship port. Aboard the Carrie B, you can lounge on the upper-level sun deck or relax in the air conditioned main cabin as you take in the stunning celebrity homes and mansions on Millionaires Row, the massive docked yachts outside of these homes, and throughout Bahia Mar Marina, the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Grande, and Hyatt Pier 66.
Once you’ve completed your fun-filled tour of Fort Lauderdale, your driver will bring back to your downtown hotel.
