San Antonio Riverwalk Food Tour

You’ll begin your tasty adventure with meeting your guide at the Torch of Friendship, a 65ft tall, impressive work of art and a symbol of cooperation and shared culture between San Antonio and Mexico.

You’ll then follow the Riverwalk to your first tasty stop, a delicious tortilla soup, made of with a traditional broth with tomato, epazote, and Guajillo chili.

Next, you will pass by San Antonio’s first neighbourhood, La Villita, en route to the next food stop where you will have your choice of a scrumptious beef, pork, or chicken, paired quesadilla with a thirst-quenching Mexican soda.

You will pass through Marriage Island and over Love Lock Bridge. Lock Bridge is covered in locks left by couples as a sign of their everlasting love to each other.

Next, you’ll pass by San Fernando Cathedral, one of the oldest, most recognized monuments in San Antonio. From here you will continue to your next restaurant stop, where you will get to try your choice of authentic, contemporary vegan, shrimp, or Baha tacos.

At your last stop, there is no better way to finish a walking food tour than with a delicious, sweet dessert. You get to enjoy Sopapillas, a yummy fried pastry with a Spanish heritage.
