Zombie Scavenger Hunt Game in Phoenix

Zombie Scavenger Hunt Game is a fun way to get to know Phoenix!

Your mission: Zombies are everywhere, and you are part of a small group of survivors. You’ll use a dedicated app to locate a list of survival items anywhere in Phoenix, in any order you choose.

The Zombie Scavengers app will give you a list of items you’ll need to find. Scavenge for much needed supplies like food, vehicles, bandages, and more. You will have 1-hour to locate and take pictures of these items.

There will also be zombie themed challenges. For each item or challenge you complete, you'll get points. The more points you get, the more likely you are to survive a zombie apocalypse.

You'll be in communication with a remote host via chat throughout the game. The objective is to survive the zombie apocalypse by getting the most points, exploring the city, and having a great time in Phoenix!

You can divide up into teams if you are playing in a larger group and play against each other to see who finds all the survival items first! You can put the scavenger hunt app on as many phones as you'd like.

How it works:

• Instructions on registering will be provided to you after you have activated your Breakaway Experiences' certificate.
• When you are ready to play, you’ll register with the experience provider and download the app called "GooseChase" onto your smartphone.
• To play the game you will need an Android or iOS Smartphone with a data plan.
• You’ll go to the starting location outside Herberger Theater Center in downtown Phoenix on the day / time you want to play, and follow the directions provided to you in the Zombie Scavenger app.
• Once you find a 'survival' item, you'll take a picture to prove you found it. You do not have to purchase anything during the scavenger hunt.
• Your remote host/guide will be monitoring your progress via the App every step of the way. You won't be alone. You can chat with them on the App throughout the game to receive hints, tips, and help if you need it.
• You can have up to 10 people on your team. The optimum group size is between 4 and 6 people.
• If you are playing in a larger group, you can split into teams and play against each other to see who finds all the survival items first!
• You can put the scavenger hunt app on as many phones as you'd like.

When:

• Zombie Scavenger customer support hours are Tuesday - Sunday from 9am-5pm.
• If you'd like, you can play anytime, outside the customer support hours.

Need to know:

• Nobody will be physically there with you during the game, dressed as Zombies. Everything is done through your smartphone.
• The game is played all outdoors in public spaces.
• The experience is wheelchair accessible. It is an open scavenger hunt, where you can explore the city on your own terms. There is no specific route, therefore you don’t have to go anywhere that is not wheelchair accessible, nor will you be asked to find anything that could not be accessible in a wheelchair.
